I am hereby very pleased to present our three candidates for next CSSA president. Below are the candidates with their brief backgrounds.

1. Jia Ye
BS, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China
Currently 2nd-year PhD student in ECE department of UC-Davis

2. Lei Shi
BS, Shanghai Jiaotong University
Currently 2nd-year PhD student in ECE department of UC-Davis
Committee member of CSSA 2008-2009
Founder of Electronic Sport Club of CSSA
Coordinator of CSSA 2008 New Student pick-up and accomodation

3. Hengkui Wu
BS, Beijing Normal University
Currently 2nd-year PhD student in Physics Department of UC-Davis
Committee member of CSSA 2007-2008

Since we have multiple candidates, there will be a voting for electing next president. Voting will be held in Orchard Park community center, 4:45 pm, June 6th, 2009(Saturday). All CSSA members are welcome to support your preferred candicate. Decision will be made by plurality (i.e., relative majority), in which each voter votes for one candidate, and the candidate who receives the most votes wins, even if he receives less than a majority of votes. Voters must be CSSA members (All the current and former Chinese students, scholars at UCD and their family members)
